It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Lieck Jr., of Rio Grande City, Texas, who passed away on Friday August 06, 2021 at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Julia Isabel R. Lieck and his children, Grace Isabel Lieck, Alicia Rebecca Lieck and Walter Lieck III, Julia Isabel Lieck. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with a chapel service at 3:00 pm. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 4:15 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
