Viola Vela Alvarado, age 89, went to be with God on Wednesday April 17, 2019 in Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas. She was born on June 20, 1929 in San Isidro, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; Alberto & Anselma R. Vela (+) also by her husband; Jose L. Alvarado Sr. (+). She is survived by her son; Jose Levina Alvarado Jr. Visitation will be held on, Friday, September 20, 2019 at Hernandez Funerals from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday September 21, 2019 from: 8:00 am to 9:15 am Leaving to San Isidro Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Burial at Alvarado Cemetery in San Isidro, Texas at 11:00 am. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
