Sostenes "Maria" Camargo's Obituary
Sostenes "Maria" Camargo, Born November 28, 1936 to The Late Salvador Camargo and Petra Montoya de Camargo, passed peacefully at Mission Hospital on June 16th 2022. Maria as she was known to all who loved her leaves behind over 100 family members who will dearly miss her. She was the second of Eight Children, Ma Amparo Garcia (Tomas+), Juan Camargo (Silvia +), Guadalupe Kiddy (John +), Aurora Benavides, Emelia Arredondo (Francisco +), Emeterio Camargo, and Graciela Camargo Moralez. Although she did not have children of Her own, she was instrumental in the rearing of numerous nieces and nephews. Maria lived her life in service to others. As a field laborer, food service Entrepreneur, and a member of the RGCCISD until her retirement. We invite you to help us say us say our last farewell to Maria on Saturday June 18th from 12 pm to 8pm (Chapel service at 6:30 pm) and Sunday June 19, from 1-8 pm. Her Final Resting place will be alongside Her Father in Monterrey Mexico. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
