Sonia M. Gutierrez, age 65, went to be with God on Wednesday November 13, 2019 in McAllen Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on July 20, 1954 in Rio Grande City. She is preceded in death by her parents; Homero Guerra and Lydia Saenz Guerra also by her husband, Lauro Gutierrez and her brother, Flavio Guerra (+). She is survived by her son, Flavio Homero Gutierrez and her 2 grand-daughters. She is also survived by her siblings, Mario Guerra, Eusebio Guerra, Thelma Guerra, Diana G. Longoria, Bertha Rodriguez as well as, many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held on, Friday, November 15, 2019 at Hernandez Funerals from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday November 16, 2019 from 8:00 am to 10:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am follow by Cremation. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
