Severa Murillo's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Severa Murillo on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the age, of 87, in Mission, Texas. Severa, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Severa, was born on October 04, 1934 in Kenedy, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Jesus Soto+ and Francisca Diaz Soto+, and her loving husband, Arnulfo Murillo+ also by her loving son, Rodolfo Soto+, her loving daughter, Elisa Murillo. She is survived her loving children, Arnulfo (San Juanita) Murillo Jr., Maria Cristina Murillo, and Julian Murillo, Rebecca Murillo (Vivek) Agarwal. Survivors also include her 5 grandchildren, Arnulfo (Jocelyn Rodriguez) Murillo III, Monica Murillo, Damian Murillo, and Hector Morales Jr., Ariedny Murillo. She is also survived by her 3 great-grand-children, Aubrey Soto, Alena Soto, Josett Soto and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Thursday September 22, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday September 23, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Los Solis’s Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
