San Isidro- San Juanita (Janie) Valdez, age 51, of San Isidro, Tx entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Rio Grande City, Tx .Mrs. Valdez was born on July 07, 1968 to the late Arnoldo and Maria Garza. Janie is survived by her husband of 23 years Alonso Valdez, son Jaime Valdez and daughter, Julissa Valdez She is also the youngest of 8 siblings, Elva (Raul) Beltran, Arnoldo (Graciela) Garza Jr., Elma (Jose) Tijerina, Robelin Garza, Dora Tijerina, Irma Garza Segura, Rolando Garza. Janie graduated from San Isidro High School in 1986 and attended the University of Texas - Pan American to study Nursing. Visitation ceremony will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Hernandez Funerals from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, Texas. Viewing continues on Tuesday January 21, from: 8:00 am to 9:15 am going to San Isidro Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Alvarado Cemetery in San Isidro at 11:00 am. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City.
