My husband, Ron, and I were blessed to meet Sabas when he came to Lansing, MI to attend Cooley Law School. He rented a room from my sister, Helen, but little did we know how special this young man would be to us and our family! He came here and was a very brave young man to adventure so far from his home! He missed his girl back home, and we were lucky to meet, Sandra, the next year! We grew to love Sabas and Sandra like another son and daughter. We were happy to share holidays and football games with him and Sandra while they lived here. He was a very determined man and studied faithfully until he passed his Bar Exam! He and Sandra were here for their first pregnancy and had Junior just before they left Michigan! We were happy to share time with his Mom and Dad when they came as well! His love for Sandra and his family were always shown on his face when he talked about them! He was a gentle, bright star, always wanting to help others. I will remember him for his handsome smile, his battle as a warrior, and his love for others! XO
