Ruben V. Martinez age, 56, passed away on Wednesday February 24, 2021 in Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on July 13, 1964 in North Dakota. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Pura Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Martha Martinez, and his children, Zuri, Jose, Luis, Kimberly and Rebecca. Survivors also include his brothers, Arturo, Johnny and Gilberto and his sisters, Alma, Gloria and Luz. Viewing will be held on Monday March 01, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a chapel service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday March 02, 2021 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Grace Point Church in La Grulla at 10:00 am follow burial at Los Solis's Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
