Ruben Munoz's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ruben Munoz, at the age of 89, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 11, 2024, in his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by his family. Ruben was born on October 17, 1934, in La Rosita, Texas to Santiago Munoz and Victoria Garza Munoz. Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, and his sons, Roberto Munoz, Ruben Munoz Jr., Rolando Munoz and Romeo Munoz+. + Ruben was our dearly loved husband, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin, nephew, and friend. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Doris Munoz, his son, Rodolfo Munoz and his daughters, Rebecca Munoz and Rosabel Munoz. He is also survived by his siblings, Josefa Lopez, Noel Munoz, Noelia Jennings, Elina Day, also by his 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. The Munoz Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The visitation service will be on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City (701 E. Eisenhower Rd in Rio Grande City, 78582). Viewing continues Wednesday August 14, 2024, from 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Followed by Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
