Ruben Munoz Jr.'s Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Ruben Munoz Jr., on Tuesday May 10, 2022 in his residence in Nixon, Texas at the age, of 66. Ruben, was our dearly loved husband, son, brother, nephew, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Ruben, was born on September 01, 1955 in Rio Grande City, to Ruben Munoz and Doris Brown Munoz. He is preceded in death by his loving brothers, Rolando Munoz, Roberto Munoz and Romeo Munoz. He is survived by his loving parents, Ruben Munoz and Doris Brown Munoz, his wife, Melissa Lynn Munoz also his loving daughter, Amanda C. Munoz and his step-daughter, Kristin Gordon. Survivors also include his loving brother, Rodolfo Munoz, and his loving sisters, Rebecca Munoz Garza, Rosabel Munoz (Rick Reyna) and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Saturday May 14, 2022 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 12:30 pm follow by a rosary at 6:00 pm. Follow by Cremation. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
