With profound sadness and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Ricardo Xavier Garza, who entered eternal rest on May 9, 2026, at the age of 55.
Born on November 6, 1970, in McAllen, Texas, Ricardo was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished son, and loyal friend whose presence brought strength, laughter, and warmth to everyone who knew him. He carried a deep love for his family throughout his life and leaves behind a legacy of devotion, resilience, and compassion.
Ricardo was the beloved son of Ramiro Garza Sr. and Socorro Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving wife, Johana Garza, with whom he shared a life filled with love and cherished memories.
He also leaves behind his children, who were the pride and joy of his life: Ricardo Garza Jr., Erik Benjamin Garza, Fernando Garza, Ramiro Garza Jr., and Rolando Omar Garza (Cristina). Ricardo’s love extended deeply to his family, including his dear nephews and nieces, Iris Garza, Sarah Garza, and Rolando Garza Jr.
Among those who will miss him most is his beloved granddaughter, Elysia Ramirez, who brought immense happiness and light into his life.
Ricardo will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous heart, and the countless memories he created with those closest to him. Though he is no longer with us in person, his spirit and the love he shared will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
