Rene Gilberto Trevino's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Rene Gilberto Trevino. Sadly, he passed away on Friday, February 02, 2024, at the age of 88 in Rio Grande City. He was a loving son, father, sibling, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Rene was born to late Rafael Trevino and Francisca R. Trevino on April 30, 1935 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Saray Trevino and his children, Francis T. Harkcom, Rene (Gracie) Trevino Jr., Jose Adrian (Anabel) Trevino, Juan Bernardo (Maria) Trevino, Becky T. (Luis) Falcon, Jaime (Alma Rosa) Trevino, and Norberto (Nelda) Trevino, Lory T. (Derric) Trevino, Celinda T.(Roberto) Martinez, Nazario (Marissa) Trevino, Rene Trevino Jr. Survivors also inculde his sisters, Rafaela T. Guerra, Margarita T. Garza and his brother, Rafael Trevino Jr., also by his 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and relatives and friends. The Trevino family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The Trevino family will receive friends and family on Sunday February 04, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals. The recital of the service will begin at 6:00 pm. Followed by Cremation. Funeral Services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
