With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Rene Alfredo Ramirez, on Saturday July 30, 2022 at the age, of 62, in his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Rene, was a dearly loved son, brother, father, grandfather, nephew and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Rene, was born on October 12, 1959 in Rio Grande City, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Rene Rodrigo Ramirez+ and Calixtra Trevino Ramirez+; brother, Roberto A. Ramirez+. He is survived by his loving wife, Ma. Araceli Ramirez and his loving daughter, Alona Rae Ramirez (Rolando) Mendoza and his loving son, Rene Alfredo Ramirez II (Julisa Rodriguez) also by his loving granddaughter, Leianna Rae Mendoza. Survivores also include his loving siblings, Raul A. (Olga) Ramirez, Rosendo A. Ramirez, Romeo A. Ramirez, and Rebecca Ramirez (David) Becerra, Rolando A.(Dora) Ramirez, Ramiro A. Ramirez. Visitation is going to be on Monday August 01, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday August 02, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:20 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Followed by a burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
