Rene Garza's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Rene Garza, on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Rene, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on January 04, 1966 in Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tiburcio Ramon+ and Socorro Cantu+ and his siblings, Margarita Garza+ and Rene Garza+. He is survived his wife, Elena Villarreal Garza also by his daughter, Alba Nydia Garza (Jose David Saenz). Survivors also include his siblings, Olga (Guadalupe) Rodriguez, Rosa (Roque) Guerrero, Odilia (Jorge) Pena, Gregoria (Candido) Trevino, Tomasa (Sergio) Elizondo, and Rolando (San Juanita) Garza, Socorro Garza (Israel Cantu), Alejo Garza, Cresencio+(Delia) Garza. Survivors also include his 3 grandchildren, Jose David Saenz II, Kayla Lyana Saenz, and Dayla Cecilia Saenz and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Wednesday April 26, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday April 27, 2023 from 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Saenz Cemetery in La Victoria at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
