Ramona R. Morales' Obituary
Ramona R. Morales was born on December 31, 1935 in Yoakum, Texas to Rumaldo Rocha. Ramona entered into eternal rest on Saturday October 14, 2023 in Rio Grande City, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Rumaldo Rocha, her husband, Jose Morales.; her daughter, Elva Gonzalez, and son, Jose Eduardo Morales. Ramona, was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother. Ramona loved to be celebrated in any way, she was one of a kind that will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Those who knew her well remember her kind heart, her sense of humor and her fierce determination and independence. Left to cherish her memory are her children, David Morales, Evangelina Rodriguez, Francisco Morales and Emelina Gonzalez. Survivors also include her 12 grandchildren, 17 grear-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of her life. Viewing will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The recital of the holy rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 8:00 am - followed by a Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 101 E Canales Bros St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582. Followed Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
