Ramon Valdez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Ramon Valdez, of La Joya, Texas, on Saturday December 25, 2021 at the age, of 78. Ramon was our dearly loved husband, son, brother, husband, uncle, grandfather and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Valdez Flores and Maria Consuelo Alvarado, and his brother, Jesus Valdez +, also by his loving wife. He is survived by his children, Juana (Francisco+) Valdez, Maria E. (Antonio M.) Hernandez and Alicia (Eduardo) Valdez, Guadalupe Valdez. Survivors also include his sister, Adela Valdez, and his brother, Rafael Valdez. Survivors also include his 4 grandchildren, Brianna M. Valdez, Yazmin I. Padilla and Eduardo Valdez Jr., Alejandra Hernandez, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 29, 2021 from11:00 am to 9:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in La Joya, Texas. Viewing continues on Thursday, December 30, from 8:00 am to 12:45 am going to Our Lady Queen of Angels in La Joya at 1:00 pm . Follow Burial at La Havana Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
