Rafael Martinez, age, 78 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in Arlington, Texas. He was born on November 27, 1941 in Rio Grande City to Rafael and Emeteria Martinez. He is also survived by his wife, Norma Martinez and his sister, Rosa Maria (Edmundo) Garcia, his brothers, Juan Manuel (Maria Elena) Martinez , David (Diana) Martinez. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Hernandez Funerals from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday February 01, from 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City.
