Rafael Garcia Lopez's Obituary
Rafael Garcia Lopez, Age, 71, passed away on Thursday May 27, 2021 at Rio Grande City. He was born in Mexico, on April 22, 1950 to Jose Maria Garcia and Epifania Lopez. He was a great husband, father, brother, and a good friend to all. He will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria Garcia and Epifania Lopez. He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Pompa Garcia and his children, Rafael Garcia Jr., Esmeralda M. Garcia, Melinda Lee Garcia, David Garcia and Jose Maria Garcia, Elisa Garcia, Cynthia Garcia. Survivors also include his 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday May 29, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a chapel service at 5:00 pm. Viewing continues on Sunday May 30, 2021 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am follow Burial at Saenz Cemetery in La Victoria at 10:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
