Prudencio "Cuco" Ramirez Rios, age, 87, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born on April 28, 1936 in Diaz Ordaz, Tamp, Mexico. Prudencio, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, grand-father, great-grand-father, great-great-grand-father, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Ramirez+ and Victoria Rios Ramirez+ also by his children, Blanca Alicia Ramirez+, Francisco Ramirez+ and by his siblings+. He is survived by his wife, Maria Yanez Ramirez and his children, Martha Alicia Ramirez, Maria Concepcion Nolazco, Rosalinda Melendez, and Roman Ramirez, Leticia Castillo, San Juanita Saenz. Survivors also include his 23 grand-children, 32 great-grand-children, 5 great-great-grand-children and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Friday June 23, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday June 24, 2023 from 8:00 am to 8:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 9:00 am. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 10:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
