Preciliana Escobar, age, 92, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 in McAllen Heart Hospital. She was born on January 04,1928 in San Juanico Pinos, Zac, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Maria P. Rodriguez and her husband, Armando Escobar. She is survived by her children, Delfino Alvarez Rodriguez, Ofelia Alvarez Rodriguez, Otilia Alvarez Rodriguez, Maria Juana Montenegro, and Maria de Jesus Montenegro, Maria Martha Montenegro, and Jose G. Montenegro, Alma Leticia Rodriguez. Survivors also include her grandchildren and great-grand-children. Viewing is going to be on Monday November 30, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a chapel service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday December 01, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am follow to La Paz Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 10:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
