With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Pedro Alvarado Gonzalez, on Tuesday November 07, 2023, at the age of 80, in Edinburg, Texas. Pedro was our dearly loved husband, father, son, brother, nephew, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Pedro was born on September 09, 1943, in Comales, Tamps, Mexico to Cesario Alvarado and Maria De Los Angeles Gonzalez De Alvarado. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cesario Alvarado+ and Maria De Los Angeles Gonzalez De Alvarado+ his loving wife, Olivia Garza De Alvarado+. Pedro leaves behind and his loving children, Cesario Alvarado, Julio C. Alvarado, Pedro Alvarado Jr. Ludivina Alvarado and Maria Alvarado, Juan A. Alvarado, San Juanita Alvarado. Survivors also include her 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grand-children many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. The Alvarado family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, November 08, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals at (806 E. Expressway 83 in La Joya, Texas). Viewing continues Thursday, November 09, 2023, from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm followed by a mass at Cristo Rey Church in La Victoria at 2:00 pm. Follow Burial at Saenz Cemetery in La Victoria at 3:00 pm. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in La Joya.
