Pauline Klein De La Cruz's Obituary
Pauline Klein De La Cruz was born on February 28, 1949 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Pauline entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 23, 2023 in Edinburg, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Aristeo Klein, Sr. + and Esperanza Garza Klein+ , and her brothers Adrian Klein+ and Ruben+ (Adriana) Klein. With the loss of her mother at age 15, and being the eldest of the Klein siblings, Pauline became the family matriarch. Selflessly being everything to everyone. Pauline was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was one of a kind, and will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Juan T. “Johnny” De La Cruz and her children Marcie De La Cruz and John A. (Bea) De La Cruz. Survivors also include her sister Irene Klein, her brother Aristeo (Ruby) Klein Jr., honorary sons Manuel (Andrea) Alvarez III, Virgilio (Sandra) Alvarez, and Victor (Leticia) Alvarez, nephews Donny (Mari) Klein and Robert (Cassandra) Klein, and 12 grandchildren Jazmin Esperanza De La Cruz, Miguel Angel De La Cruz, Betsy (Krystal) Klein, Tracey Klein, Denise (Dominic) Klein, Jacob (Kelsie) Westbrook, Virgilio Alvarez Jr., Victoria Alvarez, Matthew Alvarez, Sebastian Alvarez, Elliana Alvarez and Vicente Alvarez, and affectionately known as “grandma with a kiss” to 5 great grandchildren. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of her life. Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The recital of the holy rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 8:00 am - 9:45 am followed by a Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 101 E Canales Bros St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582 at 10:00 am. Followed by Cremation. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
