Con gran dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Paula Pruneda García, de 89 años, el sábado 24 de diciembre de 2022 en su residencia en Rio Grande City, Texas, rodeada de su amorosa familia. Paula, fue una madre muy querida, hija, hermana, abuela, bisabuela, será muy extrañada por su amada familia y amigos cercanos. Nació el 30 de junio de 1933 en Garza González, Los Ramones, Nuevo León, México. Le preceden en la muerte sus amorosos padres, Ramón García González+ y Francisca Moreno Garza+ también por su amado esposo, Vicente Pruneda Marroquín+ y sus amados hijos, Vicente Pruneda+, Alfredo Pruneda+. Le sobreviven sus amados hijos, Noe (Irene) Pruneda, Juan (Irasema+) Pruneda, Francisca Pruneda (Florentino) Garza Alvarado, José Ángel (Juanita) Pruneda, Raúl (Angélica) Pruneda, Jaime (Flor Estela) Pruneda, Armando (Elizabeth) Pruneda, y Vicente Pruneda, Rosalinda Pruneda (Gerardo) Peña, Norma Alicia Pruneda, Daniel Pruneda, Esmeralda Pruneda (Steve) Martínez, Samuel (Nancy) Pruneda. With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Paula Pruneda Garcia, age, 89, on Saturday, December 24, 2022 in her residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Paula, was a dearly mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on June 30, 1933 in Garza Gonzalez, Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ramon Garcia Gonzalez+ and Francisca Moreno Garza+ also by her loving husband, Vicente Pruneda Marroquin+ and her loving sons, Vicente Pruneda+, Alfredo Pruneda+. She is survived by her loving children, Noe (Irene) Pruneda, Juan Pruneda, Francisca Pruneda (Florentino) Garza Alvarado, Jose Angel (Juanita) Pruneda, Raul (Angelica) Pruneda, Jaime (Flor Estela) Pruneda, Armando (Elizabeth) Pruneda, and Vicente Pruneda, Rosalinda Pruneda (Gerardo) Pena, Norma Alicia Pruneda, Daniel Pruneda, Esmeralda Pruneda (Steve) Martinez, Samuel (Nancy) Pruneda. Survivors also include her 42 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in La Joya.
