Patricio Lopez De La Garza's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Patricio Lopez De La Garza, age, 80, on Friday, December 09, 2022 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. Patricio, was a dearly husband, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on February 27, 1942 in Comales, Tamps, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Basilio Lopez+ and Petra De La Garza+. He is survived by his loving wife, Eva Lopez and his loving children, Basilio (Alma) Lopez, Roberto Javier (Ana Laura) Lopez, Noemi Lopez (Jose) Pena, and Eliud (Marie) Lopez, Moises (Esmeralda) Lopez, Eva Oneida Lopez (Rene) Hernandez. Survivors also include his 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday December 12, 2022 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Follow burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
