Oscar Martinez Solis' Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Oscar Martinez Solis, age, 75, on Sunday, April 02, 2023 in Edinburg, Texas. Oscar, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on August 10, 1947 in Mexico. He is preceded in death by is parents, Raul Martinez+ and Natalia Solis+. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Del Carmen Vargas Martinez and his loving daughters, Carmen (Froilan) Garcia, Yadith (Joel) Pena and Perla A. Martinez. Survivors also include his 04 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Thursday April 06, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
