Olivia Salazar's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Olivia Salazar, on Friday July 08, 2022 at the age, of 84, in Starr County Memorial Hospital in Rio Grande City, Texas. Olivia, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, grand-daughter, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Olivia, was born on December 31, 1937 in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her loving parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Juan Antonio Salazar and her loving children, Maria Salazar and Antonio Salazar. Survivors also include her 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grand-children, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday July 10, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday July 11, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:45 am, going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
