Olga Artea Diaz, age, 81, gained her wings on Saturday, August 12, 2023, in Rio Grande City, Texas. She was born on February 24, 1942 in Crystal City. Olga, was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother in law, grand mother, and great grandmother dearly. She loved worshiping GOD, she loved life, loved spending time with her loved ones, traveling, and going to adult day care. Olga loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren dearly. She loved holidays where all her family would come together. Olga loved to be celebrated in any way, she was one of a kind that will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Gregorio Artea+ and Emma Gomez+. She is survived by her husband, Baldemar Diaz, and her children, Baldemar DiazJr.+, San Juanita Corona (Eleazar Corona)+, Jose Gabriela Diaz, llmar Diaz Sr., Dora Navarro (Rene Navarro Sr. +) Jesus Diaz (Ana Lee Diaz), Sylvia Diaz+ Maria Antonia Diaz+, and Leticia Diaz+. Survivors also include her 29 grandchildren, 31 greatgrandchildren and her extended family, all of whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Viewing continues on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. followed by Burial at El Arroyo Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:30 a.m. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
