Odilia R. Aguirre's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Odilia R. Aguirre, at the age of 89, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 07, 2024, in Edinburg, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Odilia was born on November 11, 1934, in Rio Grande City, Texas. She was the daughter of Eduvijes and Minerva Flores Aguirre. Odilia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, niece, and aunt.
Odilia was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, Trinidad Barba. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Minerva (Ernesto) Gonzalez, Juan (Tricia) Barba, and Rebecca Barba. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. She always put the Lord first and always wanted to help others.
A celebration of life will be held at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
