Noemi Benavides Lopez's Obituary
Noemi Benavides Lopez,66,entered eternal rest on Monday May 16, 2016 at Doctor Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Noemi was born on July 20, 1949 in Rio Grande City to Rosendo and Maria Benavides. She had lived in Sullivan city for most of her life. She owned and operated the quick stop store in Sullivan for many years. She was employed by the La Joya School District as a paraprofessional for the past 25 years. Noemi will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and a son Seferino Lopez Jr. Noemi is survived by her daughters- Belinda and Selina , her mother Maria Benavides,two brothers- Roel and Joel and a sister Nidia, also numerous of grandchildren, cousins, aunts, and friends. Visitation will be held at the Hernandez Funerals La Joya ,806 E.Expressway 83, La Joya on Tuesday May 17, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sullivan City at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow to the Benavides Family cemetery in Sullivan City. Funeral arrangements are being directed by Hernandez Funerals La Joya, LLC.
