Ninfa Salinas Silva, age 82, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Mission Hospital. She was born on December 21, 1937 in Venecia, Tamps, Mexico, to Felix Salinas Gutierrez and Maria Silva Vela. She is survived by her son, Fernando J. (Maria) Salinas, her brothers, Mario Salinas, Anselmo Salinas. Survivors also include her grandson, Felix (Yessica) Salinas, and her great grand children, Felix Salinas Jr., Adrian Salinas. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, October 01, 2020 at Hernandez Funeral Home in La Joya at 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday October 02, 2020 at Hernandez Funeral Home in La Joya from 8:00 am to 8:45 am with a chapel service at 8:00 am follow burial at Lord and I Cemetery in La Joya at 9:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in La Joya.
