With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Michael Andrew Villanueva. Sadly, he passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the age of 34, in Rio Grande City, Texas. He was a loving son, husband, father, sibling, uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Michael was born on September 07, 1989 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Maria Villarreal, his loving wife, Michelle Villarreal Villanueva and his loving children, Hailey Villanueva, Jordan Villanueva, Avery Villanueva, and Anita Villanueva. Survivors also include his loving siblings, John Erick Estrada, Yvonne Villanueva, and Jessica Villarreal. Survivors also include numerous relatives and friends. The Villanueva and Villarreal family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The Villanueva and Villarreal family will receive friends and family on Friday March 01, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals. The recital of the rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday March 02, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:45 am going to Immaculate Conception Church in Rio Grande City at 12:00 pm and followed by burial at La Paz Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Funeral Services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
