Merardo Santiago Cantu Munoz's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Merardo Santiago Cantu Munoz, on Saturday January 27, 2024 at the age of 50, at his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving son, sibling, uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Merardo Santiago, was born to late Santiago Cantu+. Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Julia Munoz Martinez Cantu, his loving wife, Ana Karen de la Rosa Cantu also by his loving sons, Santiago Cantu, Brian Cantu, and Merardo Cantu. Survivors also inclulde his brother, Horacio Cantu Munoz, his sisters, Ana Maria Cantu Munoz and Sandra Josefina Cantu Munoz De Saenz and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. The Cantu Munoz family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The Cantu Munoz family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals (806 E. Expressway 83 in La Joya, Texas). The recital of the service will begin at 6:00 pm. Followed by Cremartion. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in La Joya.
