Martha's life was defined by her passions and her steadfast commitment to her loved ones. An avid baker, skilled seamstress and cowgirl at heart, she found joy in creating beautiful things with her hands. Whether it was creating delicious treats, sewing clothes, creating keepsakes and hitching the gooseneck trailer to drive to rodeos, Martha poured her heart into every stitch, recipe and rodeo. A cherished tradition that brought everyone together was when she made her famous white tailed deer tamales at Christmas.
Raised in a ranching way of life, Martha embodied the spirit of hard work, resilience, and dedication. She was the oak tree of her family-strong, nurturing, unwaveringly supportive and the most humble human being in the world. Throughout her life, she expertly ran her household, providing a loving and stable environment where cherished memories were made.
Martha was preceded by her parents, Horacio L. Guerra and Yolanda M. Guerra, and little brother, Horacio "Lali" Guerra, Jr.
