Mario M. Arevalo's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mario M. Arevalo who entered eternal rest on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the age of 82, in Rio Grande City, Texas. Mario was born on April 15, 1942 in Poblado Del Azucar, Tamps., Mexico. Mario was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeronimo Arevalo and Otila Martinez Arevalo and his brother, Artemio Arevalo. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Leticia Garcia Fornue and his children, Sergio Arevalo, Anabel Salinas, Juan Arevalo, Mario Arevalo, Orlando Arevalo, Adalberto Arevalo, Jesus Arevalo, Luzma Arevalo. Survivors also include his siblings, Otila Bravo, Alejandro Arevalo, and Aleyda Vela. Also, his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The visitation service will be on Wednesday, May 01, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing will continue on Thursday, May 02, 2024, from 8:00 am. – 9:45 am. Immaculate Conception Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. followed by burial at St. John’s Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande city, Texas.
