Maria Guadalupe Villanueva, age 69, went to be with God on Tuesday October 29, 2019 in Rio Grande City Nursing and Rehab Center surrounded by her family. She was born on March 26, 1950 in Los Vela's Ranch in Rio Grande City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; Florencio De La Cruz and Margarita C. De La Cruz. She is survived by her husband; Francisco Villanueva and her children; Dania Mae Villanueva; Francisco T. Villanueva Jr., Ernesto Eli Villanueva; also by her 9 grand-children and 2 great-grand-children. Visitation will be held on, Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Hernandez Funerals from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday October 31, 2019 from 8:00 am to 11:45 am going to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rio Grande City at 12:00 pm. Follow by Cremation and there will be no Burial Services. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
