Maria M. Sanchez, age 71, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in McAllen. She was born August 6, 1947 in Cuidad Anachuac, Mexico. She is survived by her children; Fernando Cantu, Roel Cantu, Genoveva Alonzo, and Reyna Sanchez. She is also survived by her siblings; Paula Sanchez, Genoveva Sanchez, Ruth Sanchez, Diana Sanchez and Jesus Sanchez, along with 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 11:00am to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 9:00am followed by Burial at Sullivan City Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of La Joya.
