Maria Cecilia Rivera, Age, 69, passed away Monday October 26, 2020 in her residence in Rio Grande City surrounded by her family. She was born in May 04, 1951 in Mexico. She is proceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Teodulfo Rivera and her children, Ted Rivera, Nora Rivera, Nancy Villavicencio and Salome Rivera, Gloria (TJ) Gonzalez. Survivors also include her 11 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. Viewing continues on Thursday October 29, 2020 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm with a rosary at 2:30 pm follow burial at St. John's Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 3:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
