Maria Leticia Resendez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Leticia Resendez, age, 68, on Thursday, March 09, 2023 in her residence in Mission, surrounded by her loving family. Maria, was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on February 27, 1955 in Reynosa, Tamps, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Abel Borrego+ and Maria De La Luz Mendoza+. She is survived by her loving husband, Constancio Resendez Herrera also by her loving daughters, Anna Edith Resendez and Angelica Resendez. Survivors also include her sisters, Maria Elena Montelongo, Angelica Pena and Rosa Elva De La Garza, Marisela Hernandez, and her brothers, Arturo Martinez, Raul Resendez also by her 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday March 12, 2023 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday March 13, 2023 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Mission at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen at 12:15 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in La Joya.
