Maria Guadalupe Ortiz's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Guadalupe Ortiz, on Friday August 27, 2021 at the age of 70. Maria Guadalupe was our dearly loved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Maria Guadalupe was born on May 23, 1951 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Florencio and Teofila Castillo Ortiz. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cristino Nazario Morales. Maria Guadalupe leaves behind her loving mother, Teofila Castillo Monjaraz and her sons, Jose Luis Morales, Jorge Morales. Survivors also include her siblings, Ma. de Consuelo Ortiz Castillo, Veronica Ortiz Castillo, Ma. Lourdes Ortiz Castillo, Sylvia Ortiz Castillo and Antonio Ortiz Castillo , Angel Ortiz Castillo, Ignacio Ortiz Castillo, Socorro Ortiz Castillo, also many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Follow by Cremation on Tuesday August 31, 2021. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
