Maria M. Villarreal's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria M. Villarreal, who entered into eternal rest on March 20, 2024, at the age of 78, in Mcallen, Texas. Maria was a devoted wife, a loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, grandmother, great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her dear family and friends. Maria was born on January 15, 1946 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Dionicio Martinez and Belia Garcia Martinez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Baldamero Villarreal. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Maria Leticia Villarreal, Dionicio Natividad Villarreal, Luis Carlos Villarreal, Baldamero Villarreal Jr., Nora Belia Villarreal, Javier David Villarreal, Veronica Yvette Villarreal, Jorge Alfonso Villarreal, Jaime Efrain Villarreal. Her survivors also include her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family whom she loved dearly. The Villarreal Family invites you to join them in a celebration of her life. The visitation service will be on Sunday March 24, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals. Viewing continues on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm with a chapel service at 11:00 am. Burial service will follow at El Sauz Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, Texas.
