Maria Olivia Lopez's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Maria Olivia Lopez, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the age of 98, in Rio Grande City, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her loving parents, Rafael Garcia and Elisa Garcia also by her loving husband, Santiago M. Lopez, and her sons, Martin Lopez, Eligio Lopez. She will lovingly be remembered by her loving children, Hermila L. Morin, Sofia L. Castillo, Adelia L. Cruz and Magdalena (Maggie) L. Enriquez, Rosa Maria L. Miller, Lucia Lopez. Survivors also include her 21 grand-children and 40 great-grandchildren, 04 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday February 26, 2022 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm with a chapel service at 10:30 am. Follow Burial at La Casita Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
