Maria Guadalupe Lopez, Age, 82, passed away Sunday October 25, 2020 in her residence in La Victoria surrounded by her family. She was born in November 30,1937 in Rio Hondo, Texas. She is proceded in death by her parents, Anselmo and Ramona R. Sanchez and her husband Eduardo Rey Lopez Sr. She is survived by her children, Eduardo Rey Lopez Jr., Hector Alonso Lopez, Juan Santos Lopez and Maria N. Lopez Garcia, Luis Carlos Lopez, Isela Lopez. Survivors also include her 13 grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren. Viewing will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday October 29, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:45 am going to Iglesia Emmanuel in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am follow burial at La Casita Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
