Maria Ernestina L. Benavides' Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Ernestina L. Benavides on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the age, of 85, in her residence in Palmview, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Maria, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Maria, was born on August 05, 1937 in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Francisco Lozano+ and Guadalupe Lopez Lozano+, and her loving husband, Rogelio Benavides+. She is survived her loving children, Oziel (Zeferina) Benavides, Rogelio Benavides Jr+., Arminda Benavides, Alfonso (Patricia) Benavides, and Manuel (Maria) Benavides, Mario (Marisela) Benavides, David (Aida Guadalupe) Benavides, Jaime (Celina) Benavides, Marlen (Oberlin) Garza. Survivors also include her 21 grandchildren, and 16 great-grand-children and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Wednesday September 21, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
