Maria E. Gonzalez, Age, 57, passed away Monday October 12, 2020 in Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. She was born in April 11,1963 in Rio Grande City, Texas. She is proceded in death by her father, Jose Morales and her brother, Jose Eduardo Morales. She is survived by her mother, Ramona R. Morales, and her husband, Efrain Gonzalez Sr., also by her son, Efrain "Buddy" Gonzalez Jr. Survivors also include her 2 Grand-Children and her siblings, Maria Evangelina Rodriguez, Maria Emiliana Gonzalez and David Morales, Francisco Morales. Viewing will be held on Thursday October 15, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday October 16, 2020 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am follow burial at El Arroyo Cemetery at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
