Maria Thelma Garza's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Thelma Garza, age, 58, on Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Edinburg, Texas. Maria, was a dearly daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt, she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on October 31, 1964 in Rio Grande City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Pedro Bazan+ and Lydia C. Bazan+. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Garza, her loving sons, Raymond Garza Jr., Justinrey Garza, also by her loving daughters, Heather Nicole Garza, Lydia Alicia Garza. Survivors also include her loving sisters, Maricela Bazan Garza, Ana Bazan, and Alma Lydia Bazan Garza, Lorenza Bazan, also by her loving brother, Jorge Bazan and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday January 16, 2023 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm with a chapel service at 1:00 pm. Follow Burial in La Casita Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
