Maria Evangelina Garza's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Maria Evangelina Garza on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the age of 96, in Santa Elena, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Amado Garza and Maria del Refugio Garcia. She will lovingly be remembered by her children. Survivors also include her grand-children, great-grand-children as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday January 14, 2022 from 8:00 am - 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
