It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Elena Garza of Rio Grande City, Texas who passed away on Friday July 30, 2021 at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. She is survived by her father, Alfonso Garza and her children, Dominique Velasquez, Darrey Garza, Darleen Davila. Survivors also include her siblings, Angelica Garza, Karen Garza, Saray Garza and Elizabeth Garza, Mabely Garza. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 02, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday August 03, 2021 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm with a chapel service at 12:00 pm. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 12:45 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
