Maria Luisa E. Leal's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Luisa E. Leal, on Saturday July 30, 2022 at the age, of 87, in her residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Maria, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, great-great-grand-mother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Maria, was born on October 18, 1934 in Cerralvo Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Juan B. Estrada+ and Camila Estrada+ and her loving husband, Benjamin M. Leal+ also by her loving daughter, Gloria Alicia Leal+, and her loving sons, Leonel Leal+, Juan Gilberto Leal+. She is survived by her loving daughter, Alma Dalinda Leal and her loving sons, Benjamin Leal Jr., Jose Luis Leal, and Ricardo Leal. Survivors also include her 18 grandchildren, and numerous great-grand-children, great-great-grand-children and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Wednesday August 03, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday August 04, 2022 from 8:00 am to 1:45 pm, with a Chapel Service at 1:00 pm. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
