Maria Neria Alvarado's Obituary
Maria Neria Alvarado, age 90, went home to the Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving children. Her wish was to be home for Christmas, and she is. Maria Neria was born on January 1, 1926 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Jose Perez (+) and Rosa Garza, and she is proceed on death by her husband, Bernardo Alvarado and siblings Ernestina Wayne, Jose Perez, Eloisa Huerta, Rodolfo Perez, Reynaldo Perez, Roberto Perez and Ninfa Rogers.
Neria was a very kind, loving and joyful person who always put others first! She is loved and will be greatly missed by her children: Reynaldo (Janie) Alvarado, Rogelio ( Bertha) Alvarado, Roberto (Alma) Alvarado and daughter Rosa Maria and Jim Castro, Ruben (Angelica) Alvarado, Belinda (Alfredo) Salinas and by her brothers Ramiro Perez, Raul Perez and by her sister Candida Rodriguez.
All services for Maria Neria Alvarado will be held in Rio Grande City. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and a service at 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hernandez Funeral Chapel. Funeral will depart to Rio Grande City Cemetery at 2:15 p.m.
