Marcela Ramirez - July 3, 1925 - February 2, 2025
Marcela C. Ramirez went home to be with our Lord, Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 99 in Mission, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband Pedro Ramirez, her parents Lucio Cerda and Andrea Garcia.
Marcela enjoyed gardening, feeding, and watching her feathered friends as well as traveling by air to visit her children and grandchildren around Texas.
One of her most cherished memories is of her husband Pedro rounding cattle on horseback and herding them along 755 in San Isidro to Rancho Colorado.
Marcela began her day in prayer. She read her Bible faithfully. She was a person who followed the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Christian faith.
As a young widow, Marcela dedicated her life to her eight children. She taught her children to encourage, help, and always love one another.
Marcela is survived by her children: Noe Ramirez (Mandy*), Noel Ramirez, Maria de Jesus Ramirez, Maria Graciela Garcia, Noemi Bales and her husband Jim, Norma Parks and her husband Kent, Andrea Gonzalez and her husband Leonel, and San Juanita Pitts and her husband Houston.
She is also survived by two siblings: Alvara Mendoza and Hermilo Cerda, sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren along with countless nieces and nephews.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all family members, especially to Anthony Ramirez, her oldest grandchild, for his kindness, love, and support to our mother.
